It’s getting chilly outside, and we are losing sunlight fast. Time to warm up with the GobbleTrot Warm Up Weeks!
Do you enjoy running or walking our 5K on Thanksgiving Day? Whether you’re signed up or not, you are invited each Saturday this fall as Coaches Mo and Chris offer FREE sessions to help walkers and runners at any level of fitness stay active and move better!
Mo is the creator and founder of MYTMO FITNESS, an LLC created in 1990. Her training philosophy is, “mindful movement and efficient breathing will strengthen and lengthen muscles for a lifetime of better health." Clients are drawn to her creative program designs and her customer-focused expertise.
Chris is an accomplished masters runner (age 40+) and Kansas City native with 27 years of running experience. Since returning to his hometown three years ago after long stints living in Nashville and Portland, he has racked up wins in races on the roads, tracks, and trails of the Midwest—in distances ranging from 1 mile to 50 kilometers (31 miles). His run coaching and sportswear company is called Redemption Running.
In each FREE Saturday session, Coaches Chris and Mo will draw on this experience and education to provide guidance about topics like:
Strategies for success in your first 5K
Why strength and conditioning fitness is important for runners and walkers
The best stretches/exercises to prepare your body to run/walk
How to make running/walking a daily habit
Tips and tricks for getting the most out of your training
Then, time permitting, they will lead a 1-3 mile group run/walk where all are welcome to participate and move at their own pace.
When: Saturdays at 10:00 a.m., October 14 through November 18, 2023
Where: BodyFit Gym, 3838 Main Street, Kansas City, Missouri
If you sign up here, it will help us plan for the group, but feel free to drop in even if you haven’t gotten to sign up. We look forward to seeing you!

I registered but can’t participate. Can I transfer my registration to next year or give it to a friend?
