2024 GobbleTrot 5K Warm Up Weeks with Mo & Chris.png

Do you want to be more active but life gets in the way?

Does the idea of walking or running a 5K (about 3 miles) seem out of reach?

Does cost interfere with your participation in fitness classes, gyms, and races?

Would you like to work with experienced, certified fitness coaches for FREE to increase your stamina, decrease your recovery time, and improve your overall health?

At the Pilgrim Center, we know being physically active is an important way to manage mental stress and the toll it can take on our bodies. We believe everyone should be empowered to exercise and feel their physical strength.

So, we have expanded our FREE Warm Up Weeks for 2024 and are offering regular Saturday sessions with fitness coaches Mo and Chris beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, and continuing right up until our Thanksgiving Day 5K on Thursday, November 28, 2004.

This program is designed to help you "warm up" to our fundraising 5K, the Gillham Road GobbleTrot, should you choose to participate, but you DO NOT need to be registered for the GobbleTrot to join us for Warm Up Weeks.

You are welcome to attend as few or as many of the sessions you wish. Registration is not required, but it is strongly encouraged.

Special Bonus: anyone who registers for Warm Up Weeks AND attends each session will receive a FREE registration for the 2024 Gillham Road GobbleTrot!

In each FREE Saturday session, Coaches Chris and Mo will draw on their experience and education to lead you in warming up, building strength, conditioning, running/walking 1-3 miles, and cooling down. They will share guidance about setting daily habits and how to get the most out of your training.
