Packet Pick Up

To pick up your chipped, custom bib (FREE with registration before midnight on Wednesday, November 23), visit our Packet Pick Up on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning. If you have purchased any t-shirts, those will be available there, too. Some t-shirts MAY be available for purchase, but quantities are limited, so order now if you want to be sure to get yours!

This year's Packet Pick Up on Wednesday afternoon will be drive-through, although you are welcome to walk up if you like. It will be held on Wednesday, November 23, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., just behind the Pilgrim Chapel, at the Notre Dame de Sion Grade School, 3823 Locust Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64109.

 

Race Day Packet Pick Up is also available on Thanksgiving Day, at the Pilgrim Chapel, 3801 Gillham Road, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

 

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTERING AFTER MIDNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23, WILL COST $40 PER PERSON FOR THE 5K and $20 PER CHILD FOR THE CHILDREN'S DASH.

 FAQs

Is registration for the 2022 Gillham Road GobbleTrot really FREE? 

Yes! Register online before midnight on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 and receive a FREE entry which includes a custom bib and chip timing. Race Day registration for the 5K will be $40 per person. Race Day registration for the Children's Dash will be $20 per person. T-shirts will be available for purchase. But DO NOT DELAY! This event is capped at 1,500 participants, and no registrations will be accepted once we reach that capacity.

Can I give to the Pilgrim Center to support this FREE event? 

Yes! Please do. We need your support to offer all of the community programming we do at the Pilgrim Center, including the GobbleTrot. Click here to give now.

I registered but can’t participate. Can I transfer my registration to next year or give it to a friend?

No. We’re sorry, registrations must be used this year by the person who registered.

I have friends who would like to help. How can they volunteer?
That’s great! Ask them to email us at pilgrim@pilgrimcenterinc.org. We'll put them to work!

What charitable organization will my participation benefit?
ALL PROCEEDS (not canned food collected, not a percentage of profits, but ALL PROCEEDS) of the Gillham Road GobbleTrot benefit the community programs of the Pilgrim Center. Each year the Center presents free programming for every season.

When is packet pick-up? 

Packet pick up is Wednesday, November 23, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame de Sion Grade School, 3823 Locust Street, just behind the Pilgrim Chapel. If you cannot pick up your packet, we can mail it to you for an additional $8.00 fee. Email pilgrim@pilgrimcenterinc.org for more information about having your packet mailed to you.

Is the 2022 Gillham Road GobbleTrot an in-person event?

Yes, this year we are glad to be celebrating together on Thanksgiving! Of course we also are offering a virtual option if that is your preference. Simply select the Virtual 5K when you register online.

How do I submit my results for my virtual 5K?

Once you have registered for the 2022 Virtual Gillham Road GobbleTrot, you will receive an email with a link that will allow you to submit your results. Don't forget to share those finish photos to Facebook or Instagram and tag us @gillhamgobbletrot and include the hashtag #gillhamgobbletrot.

Can I bring my dog to the Gillham Road GobbleTrot in-person event on Thanksgiving Day?
Sorry, no. We love our fur babies, too, but dogs can be problematic when lining up for the race.

Can I push my child in a stroller at the in-person Gillham Road Gobbletrot?
Sure! We just ask that you line up near the back of the group, with the walkers.
