This spring marks the four year anniversary of the Pilgrim Labyrinth & Butterfly Garden in Hyde Park.
Over these years the native plants in the garden have established quite well, and we see lots of Monarch butterflies each fall.
If you enjoy watching Monarch Butterflies and would like to learn more about their migration, come help us catch and tag Monarch butterflies at the @pilgrimlabyrinthkc Saturday, September 18, at 1:00 p.m.
This is a free event, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. We need to ensure enough supplies for everyone, limit attendance to increase butterfly activity, and train and supervise all individuals tagging to prevent injury to the butterflies.
Space is limited, so don't wait to sign up! Click here to register.
Visit Monarch Watch to read all about the migration of the Monarch Butterflies and how they track it. Check out the instructions for tagging, too!
Don't forget to follow us on social media, @pilgrimlabyrinthkc .
